Overview

The Materials Preparation Facility is one of eight Central Facilities operated by the Nebraska Center for Materials and Nanoscience (NCMN). These Central Facilities are university recharge centers that are open to all UNL researchers as well as external users with well defined user fees. The Materials Preparation Facility is located in Behlen Lab (Room 167) at the University of Nebraska (see Contact Info).

Researchers may have analyses done by the facility specialist or become a trained user of facility instrumentation and perform the work themselves (certain restrictions may apply to external users).

The facility contains Heat Treatment Ovens as well as Sputtering Systems.
